Vegan Sponge Cake
Sponge cake is a British cake recipe. You can quickly prepare this recipe in 40 minutes. This sponge cake is amazingly delicious. So, you can have one slice with your afternoon tea or in the morning. The baking process is also simple. So, let’s dig into it.
FOR THE SPONGE
- Dairy Free Margarine (200g)
- Dairy Free Yoghurt (200g)
- Soya Milk (200g)
- Vanilla Extract (3 Teaspoons)
- Baking Powder (2 Teaspoons)
- Self-Raising Flour (400g)
- Caster Sugar (300g)
FOR THE FILLINGS
- Icing Sugar (200g)
- Strawberry Jam
- Lemon Zest (1 Teaspoon)
- Dairy Free Margarine (150g)
So, preheat oven to 350F. Get a cake pan 20cm to 22cm.
Get a large bowl. Mix Margarine & Sugar until they are extremely Pale and fluffy.
Now add the Yoghurt and vanilla extract to your mixtures. And mix it well again. Add few Tablespoons of flour if your dough looks curdled.
Now add the baking powder and flour and slowly fold it into a mixture, until they are thoroughly combined.
Get those mixtures and divide equally into the cake pan. And bake if for 20 to 22 minutes until they are appropriately cooked like our picture. And keep them on a side for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
In the meantime, for the buttercream it’s too easy. In a mixing bowl take all the ingredients and mix it until they are light and fluffy.
Now get your cakes and add plenty of jams on one side of each cake. Then add buttercream and carefully make them looks like a sandwich.
Sprinkle the icing sugar on top. And maybe some strawberry and serve.
You can add other jam like raspberry jam or mix fruit jam for the fillings

Vegan Vanilla Cake
The vegan vanilla cake is so yummy and fluffy. You are going to love this vegan vanilla cake recipe. Perfectly balanced texture and light. You can keep in the fridge for up to 5 days easily. And it does suits on any occasions. As it topped with fresh strawberries.
For Vanilla Cake
- All-purpose Flour (220g)
- Baking Soda (One Teaspoon)
- Sugar (200g)
- Salt (1/2 Teaspoon)
- Soy Milk (240ml)
- Vanilla Extract (2 Teaspoons)
- Olive Oil (80ml)
- White Vinegar (1 Tablespoon)
For Vanilla Frosting
- Icing Sugar (450g)
- Vegan Butter (3 Tablespoons)
- Soy Milk (4 Tablespoons)
- Vanilla Extract (2 Teaspoons)
- Fresh strawberries
First of all, preheat oven to 300F.
Get a mixing bowl add flour, sugar, baking soda and salt. Mix it well.
Now add soy milk, vanilla extract, and vinegar. And whisk it until they are thoroughly combined.
Get a 7-8-inch cake baking pan. And grease coconut oil. Cut baking pepper into the circles for the baking pan.
Now pour the mixtures into the cake pan and Bake it 30 minutes in preheated oven.
When it comes out clean that means it done. Set it on the side to cool
In the meantime, let's prepare the vanilla frosting. Get an electronic mixture. Add the all the frosting ingredients. And mix it until its smooth and creamy.
If the vanilla frosting little thin then add little icing sugar. And if it too ticks add little soy milk. And, it will be spreadable.
Now your cake should be cold enough. Cut your cake into 2 layers.
Add vanilla frosting on top of the one layer. And in the 2nd layer cover it entirely with vanilla frosting by using a knife.
Decorate with fresh strawberries and serve.
If you are not serving the cake right away then you can add the strawberry later on as it might get soggy. So, you can keep it easily in the fridge for a couple of days to enjoy later.

Vegan Chocolate Cake
The vegan chocolate cake recipe is easy to prepare. This my one of my favorite vegan cake recipe. This cake uses applesauce instated of eggs and oil. So, it’s like almost fat-free. A vegan food lover will love it as well as other no vegan.
- All-purpose Flour (2 cups)
- Sugar (1 cup)
- Baking soda (2 Tablespoons)
- Cornstarch (1 Tablespoons)
- Cocoa (1/3cup)
- Applesauce (1 and ½ cup)
- Salt (1/4 teaspoon)
Pre-heat oven to 325F.
Get a cake baking pan and grease flour over the pan.
Now get a large mixing bowl. Add all the dry ingredients into it and mix it well.
Add applesauce whisk it until it batters and smooth.
Bake it 50-55 minutes until it comes out clean.
Add some Icing sugar on top and cut into 8 pieces and serve
